Am I being mean? Or observant?

I think a bit of both.

I read this wedding announcement in the PG yesterday and it jumped out at me because the people were very attractive. Come to find out that one of the Hillman (as in Henry Hillman the billionaire) grandchildren got married.

That would be Lilah Fisher. The announcement says:

Lilah Hilliard Fisher, a daughter of Audrey and Timothy Fisher, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was married to Jeffrey Roland Wise, the son of Dr. Daniel Wise, of Charlotte, N.C., and Wendy Payne, of Ft. Myers, Fla. James Diamond, an ordained minister, will officiate the ceremony at Chocorua Island Chapel on Squam Lake in Holderness, N.H. The couple met at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., where they both graduated cum laude. The bride, 28, and bridegroom, 27, are actors in New York. They have performed off-off Broadway and in films. The bride is a co-founder of Bobik Arts Ensemble, a theater company in New York. The couple both attended The Actors Center Conservatory in New York. They will appear in the upcoming film Taking Charge due out this fall.

This interested me! Famous actors, and one from the Burgh, that are appearing in an upcoming Hollywood movie!?

“PittGirl,” I said to myself, “you MUST research and post this info!” Not one to ignore the orders that my own brain gives me, I set out in research. I found sites about their off-off broadway plays (seems Lilah’s a good actress); however, no listings on IMDB and not a mention of them in the credits on the IMDB movie page nor on the movie’s official website, which lists cast positions such as “Agent #1,” “Agent #2,” “gangbanger,” and “barback.”

The announcement in the New York Times makes no mention of their roles in Taking Charge.

From my research, Lilah Fisher seems like a cool chickadee, but it sure looks like they may be movie extras in Taking Charge. Is that something to put in a wedding announcement?

And am I being a shrew or very very shrewd? Well, you KNOW I’m going to see this movie to see what parts they play. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

Love ya, Elsie and Henry!

Two children from rich familes and who become actors…. think about it.

The parents can’t brag “Oh Thomas is a Doctor” or “Tracy got her MBA from Harvard”. Nope. It’s “Tom’s an actor in New York”.

You’ll brag on anything you can get your hands on

The reason they have mention about the movie is because Lilah’s brother is the producer of the movie. Matthew Fisher and also has a larger role in the movie. He also has a great CD that I urge you to buy.

I just happen to be dating the youngest granddaughter at the moment!

I’m not an actor unfortunately but my 2nd cousin is James Van Der Beek!!

    no impresseive :( I tried…
