PNC is doing okay.

Then why are they now going to charge us 10 bucks a year for a branded card they so heartily encouraged us all to get!?

That whole Steeler/Pirate card thing pisses me off. Get this: Somebody started running up charges on my wife’s debit card which she still had in her possession and never used online (so a store clerk probably captured it and used it).

Anyway, PNC calls US to alert us of the problem, closes the account for us, and then has the juevos to charge us $7.50 for the replacement card. I called them up saying the card was not lost or stolen, so it doesn’t meet the criteria of $7.50.

I was refunded, but they are a greedy bunch of bastards.

I guess we could just switch to Fifth Third for their “TOTALLY free checking*.”
