I don’t know whether to laugh … or laugh.

First of all, how considerate of the Trib headline writers to get creative with a headline involving a man who yesterday tried to chop his family into little bits with a sword.

They decided to coin the phrase “goes samurai”. Nice. I’m sure there was just no other way to word that one.

Secondly though, I got a chuckle out of this line:

Dunlop came at Corbly Cleavenger swinging a sword and struck him on the left hand, police said. Then Dunlop attempted an “overhead chop,” and the sword got stuck in the ceiling, reports said.

1. Heh. Got the sword stuck in the ceiling. Dumbass. That’s funny without even trying.
2. “Corbly Cleavenger”?! Danielle Steele couldn’t come up with a better name than that if she tried. Corbly Cleavenger.
3. “Go samurai” is the new “go postal”. Spread the word.
