David Hollander’s Ode to the Bus

If you’ll forgive me another Stillers post.

I fully understand that not everyone reads the newspaper like I do … religiously. I belong to the Church of News.

So knowing that, I felt it my duty to just point you Steeler’s fans toward David Hollander’s Ode to The Bus, not to be confused with David CONRAD’s Ode to the Burgh (call me!).

David Hollander is a Burgher living the Hollywood life as a TV producer and writer (The Guardian).

I point it out to you for a couple of reasons:
1. I too cried a little bit during the play he refers to.
2. It’s beautiful, man. Go read it.

We named our Daschund Rooney. Perhaps we should offer him to the Steelers as a mascot for a single game for a pair of lower level tickets. Perhaps something around the 50 yard line?

If you can get him to wear a trench coat and keep a cigar in his lips … I think you’ve got a trade.
