Back at ya.

Dudes, Blogger was buggy on me all day yesterday. Couldn’t post a thing. Ay.

Things I missed:

1. Did you all think I was marching with the immigrants in Pittsburgh? Nope.

Because this is not a political blog, all I’ll say on that issue is this:

Illegals of America, don’t do anything in this country or to this country, or ask anything of this country, that you would not want done in or to, or asked of by illegals in your country. It’s really very simple. I think we’ll just call that The Golden Rule. Hey, I just made that up. I should trademark that. (wink)

2. David Blaine is a world class idiot.

3. Pirates manager Jim Tracy is the absolute ruling king of double talk. No one can say the same thing over and over again quite like this master:

“Good players and good teams play with a sense of urgency every day. They don’t play with panic, but they do play with a sense of urgency. And I see our team playing with a sense of urgency. ”

“We had a very poor, poor pitching performance. We pitched poory right from the get-go. We pitched … poorly.”

I bet when he was in high school he could turn one paragraph into a four-page paper. He’s that good.

More later.

Remember when David Blaine hung in that box over the Thames 2 and a half years ago? I had the immense privilege of being in London studying abroad and visited the site because my sister asked me to get a picture. Yeah, that was definitely not a highlight of my trip. All I have to say is thank God he’s not from Pittsburgh…

PittGirl: I saw Bobby O talking to a little old lady today. One thing I need to say: don’t wear a shirt that you can see one’s undershirt! Not cool! Also, he had a policeman with him. Didn’t think Bobby O needed a police escort – not after the sniper!

Actually, truth be told, I have met Bobby on several occasions. He always has a police escort. For real.

!!! That’s so…weird. I shall have to ask my husband if he ever had a police escort back when he was a councilman. Bobby O used to do this yearly readathon for the kids. I don’t think he did it this year…something about being the mayor or something. Weird!

It’s a perk of the office.
