What they’re really thinking: Mini-camp edition.

The Steelers have been hard at work at mini-camp, and once again, Benny brings out the snark in me:

I have always thought Benny is a bit on the chunky side. More so this offseason than ever.

Cowher did not single out anyone, but not all of his players reported back in tip-top shape. “No, there were some people that I discussed weight with. There are a few people that know where they need to be and aren’t there yet.”

I bet he’s talking about Benny. Even his helmet is too tight now.

Benny tried to lighten the mood with his mad dancing skills.

And I don’t even know what’s happening here.

Is he praying to the football Gods? Is he catching the ball? If he’s catching the ball, hasn’t he ever heard of that “keep your eye on the ball” thing?

Oh, Benny. I’ve missed you.

Glad to see I’m not the only one with an only marginally-rational resentment toward B-Money. I think it was the photos of him with a crunk glass and glass-eyed stare, during the playoff bye week, that sealed the deal.

I thought maybe you would have had Bob and that kid telling Benny: “Lose that shit!”
    More great stuff pittgirl…

Maybe he bulked up during his trip to Switzerland, all that swiss cheese.

    Pittgirl –

I don’t like football. I usually don’t understand most people who do like football. And yet, your Benny posts are always must-reads for me. Thanks for cheering me up today.

You’re quite welcome. Let’s all give a bit of thanks to Benny too, for being such a snarkable dude.

Oh, and lest I forget. Look how flabby his arms are in that last photo. My grandma had tighter flab than that on her arms when she was 83.
