Burghers? Ready for this?

One of the mysteries of Pittsburgh that actress Sienna Miller will explore while in town making the movie “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh” is how to endure the wrath of her host city after insulting it in a national publication.

In an article in Rolling Stone magazine that hits newsstands today, Miss Miller refers to the town as something that starts with “sh” and rhymes with “Pittsburgh.”

Shitsburgh?! She called this city Shitsburgh?!

First of all, please note the headline:

Heh. Semi-famous.

“Can you believe this is my life?” Miss Miller later asks Rolling Stone contributing editor Jenny Eliscu, over a plate of garlic-parmesan Buffalo wings at a Pittsburgh hotel bar. “Will you pity me when you’re back in your funky New York apartment and I’m still in Pittsburgh? I need to get more glamorous films.”

Okay, she’s back in town today and she’s staying in a downtown hotel that serves garlic-parmesan Buffalo wings. Where could that be? Somebody let me know so I can let the pigeons know where they can find her skinny ass and use it for target practice.

Lukey of course came to the city’s defense in his usual way:

“I think obviously we have a great town, and I disagree with her comments,” said Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, having been briefed on the Rolling Stone story. “She was probably in the more elite facilities in and around the city. I think if she would have interacted with regular Pittsburghers, she would have found differently. She needs to get out with us regular folks.”

Um. I think the problem is that Sienna doesn’t like regular folks.

So, Burghers, if you see Sienna Miller on the streets of the Burgh be sure to like shoot her the evil eye or something then get away from her because there is likely to be flock of mad poop-loaded pigeons hot on her ass.

Click here to see Sienna in all her insane bitch glory as she flips out at a photographer. She’s nuts.

Now if Mena Suvari says something bad about the Burgh, I’ll be heartbroken.

UPDATE:  Just checked my email and wanted to give a special hat-tip to cityworker and Bryan for sending me the link as well.  You guys rock for making sure I catch certain articles.

Gee, Sienna, if you hated Pgh yesterday, you’re REALLY gonna hate it today! It’s just wrong that she even gets to be a part of Mysteries of Pgh. Michael Chabon and his book are way too good for that skinny, only-famous-for-who-she’s-dating cooch.

At least she’s only playing Jane Bellwether and not Phlox.

I’m fairly certain the MoP cast are staying at the Omni William Penn. Just what I’ve heard.

Anyway, Sienna Miller is about the last person we need to validate the worth of our city. Considering that her celebrity status is somewhere between B-list actress and “that girl who’s sleeping with Jude Law,” I wouldn’t be surprised if her comments actually gave Pittsburgh some bizarre reverse-indie cachet.

I’m glad she spends her free time sulking at the hotel bar, though; if I ever saw her out at Brillobox or Gooski’s I’d probably die a little inside.

What a miserable, spoiled crackhead doesn’t like the burgh — there’s a surprised. What she doesn’t know is that once she gets old no one will care about her anymore.

Yes, Yinzernation! What we need is a t-shirt that says “Shitenna Miller is a jagoff.”

This crackhead, anexoric ho bag needs to know we don’t take what B movie so-called actors say about our city. Really, what is her claim to fame? Just remember this when the movie comes out and let’s make sure we send a message. Maybe it will be on the dollar store video shelves after a week at #6.

    What a jagoff is right!!!
