WTAE reporter David Highfield interviewing a woman who came down with a group of ladies from Toronto, Canada to hit the “Black Friday” sales at Grove City.
David Highfield in a serious tone: “Tell me, do you not have stores in Canada?”
Confused lady from Toronto: “Um.”
Yes, David. All of Canada is a barren wasteland where Eskimos and penguins roam, and goods are bought using animal furs as money.

Yes, I know David is with KDKA, but my WordPress suddenly won’t let me post or edit posts. More later. :)

I just checked out his bio on the KDKA website, he lists James Taylor as his favorite singer – really cool for a young guy. ugh

JT is safe. Maybe his favorite band is Nine Inch Nails or Godsmack? I can’t imagine anyone in the local media admitting such a thing! Still too conservative around here. Perhaps he goes home, puts on a rubber suit and listens to Prodigy? Or has the complete collection of Insane Clown Posse on his iPod?
I crack myself up.

Now if he had listed someone such as – hmmm – Clay Aiken – then I’d wonder about him. Ugh.

His question sounds like pure sarcasm to me.
