Deep down. PittGirl? Not so nice.

Damn, Burghers. Do you know how hard it is to post to a blog when your entire family is in town and none of them know you have a blog? Real hard.

Moving on. Or “moving forward” as Lukey would say.

This story fully illustrates why PittGirl will forever and ever and ever be afraid of pit bulls:

Pittsburgh police early yesterday shot and killed a dog after they said it shook off an entire canister of pepper spray and the impact of several bricks hurled at it to get it to move away from a house.

A whole can of pepper spray? The impact of bricks? And the dog just brushed them off? Was this one of Joey Porter’s horse-eating dogs?

“The contents of one can of pepper spray was deployed on the dog,” Officer Goga reported. “This was ineffective and only caused the dog to lick its face.

And ever.

If Pittsburgh ever did what Denver did, which is ban pit bulls, on the surface I would act shocked … SHOCKED! I tell you. I would completely post all sorts of stuff about how cruel it is to ban and kill them, just so I would seem like a nice, animal-loving person.

But inside my heart? Yeah, I’d be having a party.

Remember Joey Porter’s pit bulls attacking his neighbor’s miniature horse? Maybe dogs should be trained to attack Pittsburgh pigeons downtown and turkeys in the suburbs.

I wouldn’t even act like I was appalled if pit bulls were banned. I’m continually amazed that these beasts are allowed to live amongst us, disguised as run-of-the-mill domestic animals, when in fact they are animals who can be so unpredictably violent that Joey Porter finds himself apologizing in the media for their behavior. I mean, really, think about that.
