Because I love you, here’s a kitten head.

An Aliquippa man is accused of giving his ex-girlfriend a gift-wrapped package containing the severed head of a kitten.
According to the Animal Friends organization, a Mt. Washington woman called police Jan. 28 when she arrived home to find a package wrapped with red bows and pink tissue paper. Police found inside the package the severed head of a black, 12-to-16-week-old kitten and a note reading, “I love you, Your Ben.”
Usually when a psycho ex boyfriend starts sending you the severed heads of furry things, doesn’t the note usually say something like “you suck” or “I hope you die” or “here’s hoping your head falls off too”.
“I love you, Your Ben”?!?!!?
Freak.
The red bows and pink tissue paper was a nice touch. If that doesn’t say “I care” I don’t know what does.

If it was autographed it makes me wonder if the head was wearing a helmet

She’s just lucky he didn’t propose. She might have ended up reenacting the horsehead scene from the godfather.

Perhaps he was trying to create a feline mizpah; he gave her the head and he kept the body. When the two cat parts are put together, one can read the inscription:
“The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent from another. Meow.”
