Where’s Lukey?

For a little diversion to your work day let’s play “Where’s the Mayor?”

I’ll give you a hint. The Mayor is not … repeat he is NOT wearing a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt.

You have ten seconds.

Get the joke?  Get it?  Because he’s so young he’s hard to spot in a group of kids.

Get it?  My God, if I have to explain every joke to you …

The mayor is the one behind the dorky looking kid with the tie.

No way, dude, the mayor IS the one with the tie. Or is it the Goth parent in the back right.

The woman to the left of the Goth babe, in the green top, is the girl who played Velma in Scooby Doo…..

I think that might be a young Mario Lemieux in the back row…or K.D. Lang- I can never tell those two apart!

He has the same puzzled and bored look as all his other classmates. The question is: Who is the mysterious speaker making them look so excited?

Hey! The kid in the yellow shirt behind Lukey is my son! A lousy picture, but I recognized the shirt and the hat-head. I’m laughing so hard because the night before the big mayoral visit to his school I was coaching him to ask Lukey, “Are you moving Pittsburgh forward?” The kids didn’t really get to ask any questions though according to the always reliable testimony of a 5 year old… But I tried, Pittgirl. O how I tried.

That girl in the lower righthand corner looks like she’s onto him.
