Chief Wuss of US Airways

The chief executive of US Airways has completed a 24-hour jail sentence for a drunken driving arrest, the Maricopa County sheriff said today. Doug Parker left the Estrella Jail, which holds female inmates, in Phoenix at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio said that because of his high-profile status, Mr. Parker was put in a separate cell for his safety.

Wait, so they put him in a separate cell because they were afraid the women were going to kick his ass?

Hah! Wuss.

Do you know what the sad part about that is, PittGirl? That sheriff, Joe Arpaio, is infamous for putting his inmates on a chain-gang while dressed in pink to embarass them. Unfortunately, it seems like his willingness to act tough suddenly vanishes when it’s time to make a real example of someone. They should have locked this dude on a JetBlue flight stuck on the tarmac with no peanuts (or the blue potato chips they serve) and an overflowing toilet.

That is all. I say one more word and my frequent flier points go bye-bye.

Some may call being the only guy locked up in a women’s prison punishment. Others call it a dream come true.

Have you ever actually flown U.S. Airways? Anyone who has might understand why this guy’s a target.
