A brand new Annoying Burgher.

As you should know, Twanda Carlisle was arraigned yesterday for a scheme in which it appears as if she paid consultants who were her friends, and then had some of the money in those checks deposited back into her bank account and sometimes her campaign account.

After her arraignment yesterday, her mommy said:

“And also, you know, if you look at our society, any time you have a person come out and say, ‘rough, tough, nappy-headed hos,’ this is what our society thinks of women,” Ms. Parker said. “It’s difficult, but we’ll make it through, because we’ve got greater powers.”

On the news yesterday, I saw that when asked if she thought her daughter was targeted for her race, she replied:

“It’s the democratic machine.”

I’m an educated chickadee and not a word of shit that woman just said makes one ounce of sense.

So is it because she’s black, Ms. Parker? Because she’s a woman? Or because of the democratic machine?

Or is it because she’s a thief? Hmm.

And what are your “greater powers”? If you had said, “greater power” I’d think you’re talking about God. But “powers”? Did you steal the PittGirl Ball o’Magic?

Have you asked it lately if the Buccos are going to play .500 ball this season?

Have you asked it if you’re the next Annoying Burgher? Because if you do, I hope it says, “My God, YES!”

h/t to Tim, again.

In the midst of the Imus “scandal”, it’s interesting to hear her mother make these comments. Twanda Carlisle has been charged with crimes and those charges have nothing to do with her race.

Why does the “race” card have to be played in this situation? How about just accepting the fact that maybe, just maybe, your daughter may have actually done something wrong? God forbid!

I want to know what this secret power is because she’s obviously a lousy superhero if she got caught. Maybe she has mind powers! She should get a major award!

Now, if we could just get her in the Thunderdome against N’at Man. DVE, I expect royalties if you do it!

Memo to the Propel Pittsburgh Committe:

I know your busy working up a branding statement, but if Carlisle gets re-elected, we leave.

    Sincerely,
    20-34 year olds.

Can someone point me in the right direction on what this lady does? As someone who is moving back into the Pittsburgh area in the next few months and in the 20-34 year old age bracket I am curious.

This b*tch is toast…she failed to get the Democratic Party’s endorsement and she has 7 other people vying for her seat on city council. The fact that this all came to light a month before the primary is sheer poetry.

They should ship Ms. Carlisle and the “revered” DC Councilman Marion Barry out to some small town in North Dakota where they can mismanage funds, smoke crack, embezzle, and generall wallow in their own crapulence. I bet they’d get along swimmingly.

And the cherry on top for this article:

“Mr. Ravenstahl declined to state flatly that he would press to have money returned to the city should Ms. Carlisle be convicted. “We’ll deal with that in the future. Let’s let this process take its course and then we’ll decide as a city how to move forward.”

Oh Lukey, do you think that just because we’re drunk we’re going to think you can handle this situation? Not so much.

    HA Lauren, good one!
No one loves Don Imus more right now than Twanda Carlisle’s mom. What an idiot. I’m just going to sit back and watch this woman hang herself.

If Twanda gets elected — humm. That means that Twanda would have won the D party primary and the general election in November. Remember, there are two hurdles.

We need, and perhaps have, a great candidate for the general election.

Your help is needed to insure that there is but ONE great opponent in that race. Email me and I’ll send you a reply.

One wonders if the Feds and Mary Beth have expressed an intrest in these goings on, $101,480 in misused public funds and the sending of some of that money out of state might (one would think) violate a federal statute or two.

She is a thief no matter what color she is! Ship her with her momma and Al Sharpton, Al Roker and Rev. Jesse to an island – no better yet, back to Africa!
