SpongeBob went to heaven in a skirt.

Reader DW pointed me toward this slideshow on WPXI.com in which WPXI was kind enough to allow Burghers to show off their tattoos.

Miami Ink, this is not.

Some of the especially fug, baby-scaring, WTF ones:

1.  Definitely the kind of girl your mom wants to have over for city chicken:

2.  So much wrong with this one:

Is that a steak?  What does that say?  “Fun to Pet, Better to Chew”?  What part of the body is that?

3.   Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Why is SpongeBob wearing a skirt?

4.  I’m pretty sure this was drawn on my goth classmate’s Trapper Keeper in 10th grade.

That’s class.

5.  Um.

That’s an acid trip right there.

Wow. What a collection of seriously crappy body art.

I was upset not to see any Steeler related ink. I’m sure that there is a plethora of crappy Steeler ink running around the city.

Prime examples of what happens when you let your 7 year old play with your tattoo needle.

Personally I would have gotten Squidward instead of SpongeBob.

I will say, though, that some of the other ones you didn’t post were pretty damn good.

    These are truly Godawful, though…

The steak one enthralled me so much that I had to Google it – apparently, “fun to pet, better to chew” is about animals, hence the steak. And I think that’s the underside of his forearm.

topic: those are indeed some horrifying tattoos. do these people not understand that they are permanently permanent? although the last one is so bad it’s nearly kind of awesome. sort of.
