My good Facebook friend Leo emailed me some pics his friend took while hanging out with some of the Steelers for an event.
1. Here’s Hines’ locker filled with pictures of his son Jaden.
Aw. That is a cute kid.
2. Here’s a scripture Hines has hanging in his locker:
Wow. That is commendable if that is something he is trying to live every day. I’m also guessing this scripture helps him to be a content wide receiver in what has historically been a rushing offense. He has absolutely wrote the book on being a selfless receiver, focusing on not only his receiving game, but his ferocious blocking game as well. How many times have we heard Hines say something like this?
“We’ll do whatever we have to do to win, … We like catching the ball, but the big thing is getting that ‘W’ every week. I’ll take that over anything else, any day.”
“Listen, we might only throw the ball 16 times a game in this offense,” Ward said. “One guy isn’t going to catch all 16 balls. You might only have three or four thrown to you. So, if you still want to contribute, you have to do something to help in other areas.”
PittGirl? Meet your new respect for Hines Ward.
3. And here’s Troysus’ locker:
For an non-materialistic do-gooder, he sure has lots of shoes.
4. And finally, here’s Nate Washington wearing a dumb shirt.
