With the great news about how awesome and fun Pittsburgh is, the PG was sure to support that awesome, fun image for all of those travelers that might be searching for info on the Burgh today by putting this little nugget right there near the top of their home page:

Damn, PG. Why not add, “… and the Mon Wharf is flooded, the pigeons reproduced in record numbers overnight, and it is going to be 80 degrees and sunny in Miami today. Try not to kill yourself.”

Dude! don’t scare me! I was skimming through this one when the pigeon comment caught my eye. I went into an instant panic at the image of millions of the winged-rats swarming.

And just so you know, I think they are up to something. I’ve been noticing them hanging out over 279 in Ross Township plotting some sort of attack on the city. Can’t trust those pigeons!

I’m hoping that the same pigeons are taken out by the hawk that hangs on the light post just past the Venture street exit as you head north…just sayin’..

In defense of Winter, I have to mention things that make Winter useful: soup, blankets, fires in fireplaces, the clean taste of the air, the beauty of snow in the pool of a streetlamp and the precious reminders of the feel of direct sunlight on an upturned face. Of course, out there right now it’s in the low sixties.

    We’re getting teased.
