Pittsburgh is the new LA.

Another movie will be filmed in the Burgh this spring, this one produced by DreamWorks.

The company expects to begin shooting a romantic comedy entitled “She’s Out of My League” on March 31, with production scheduled to wrap up at the end of May.  Produced by Pittsburgh native Jimmy Miller, the film is slated to star Jay Baruchel, perhaps best known for a supporting role in the Judd Apatow-produced comedy “Knocked Up”, and Alice Eve as the “perfect 10” he pursues.

I LOVED Jay Baruchel in Numb3ers so I’m totally stalking his ass and if he’s worthy, self-uniting him, too.

See how adorable he is?

As for Alice Eve, who I have never heard of before today:

I guess she’s stalk-able. What do you boys think?

Was he the guy that got the crap beat out of him in MDB? If so, I thought he was a great.

Not great enough to be deemed a “man-crush” but great nonetheless.

As for Alice Eve…Id have to say

I just saw Alice Eve last night in the fantastic Tom Stoppard play “Rock & Roll” here in New York.

Not to exaggerate, but she is so gorgeous it made my eyes hurt just to look at her.

Maybe I will come home to the Burgh just to follow her around. I wonder if she will share a large order of O fries with me?

That head shot makes Jay looks a little too much like that 17 year old kid on American Idol. Alice Eve sounds/looks like a porn star. Have at ‘er, fellas.

What the hell is she (barely) wearing? Is that an overcoat or badly-tailored suit? And, could she please take it off?

I thought at first she reminded me of someone, then it hit me – not one someone, but two. Anyone else see Kathy-Ireland-meets-Claudia-Schiffer?

The kid reminds me of someone else too but I’m not able to pick up exactly who yet.

I thought I followed Numb3rs, but I don’t know this kid. I’d never have imagine PittGirl watching. Wild.

Alice Eve was the best part of Big Nothing. I don’t recommend it.

Why the hell does the caster on that ottoman bug me? Does it bug anyone else?

PittGirl, you rascal, you used a photo of yourself and made up the name “Alice Eve,” didn’t you? Naughty PittGirl! Bad, wicked, naughty PittGirl! I must give you a good spanking.

(And does anybody know if that’s the Jimmy Miller I knew at Point Park College, circa 1979?)
