I meant to post this on Friday, but then the Great Snow Battle delayed me and then before I knew it, Saturday was gone. Here I sit with my Dunkin Donuts coffee and I realize I wanted to get Bill Toland’s okay on this before I posted it, but whatever. Bill Toland is a sneaky SOB, so I’ll be a sneaky bitch right there with him.
I’m the manager at Billie Jeans in Cranberry, it’s a men’s and women’s clothing boutique, and we have our big spring party coming up on March 9…where we want to do something for charity. There will be food, drinks, possibly free hand massages, good music, and a store-wide 10% discount! I read your blog every day and I’ve been following Bill Toland’s fundraising efforts, I think this would be the perfect charity opportunity. I want to know if we can do a sort of partnership up until the time Bill shaves his gorgeous head of hair. We want to donate a dollar to Bill Toland’s efforts every time someone purchases something AND mentions they read about us in The Most Awesome Blog Ever up until he shaves his head! For our Spring Premiere / Party we want to double that and donate two dollars for every purchase that mentions they read about us on here. I think what Bill is doing is awesome and I really want us to help him out!
Just a little more about the company…we’re all Pittsburghers! The two owners graduated from Robert Morris a few years ago and opened this boutique in May. I went to Allegheny College and just recently started managing the store.
Let me know what you think!
Ashley & the staff at Billie Jeans
So I let Ashley know I thought it was a great idea.
I’ve browsed the store and I must say, GREAT fashion.
I particularly covet this:
If this is the type of store you frequent and it’s the type of store within your budget, please go check them out and tell them PittGirl sent you so that they’ll donate to Bill’s efforts. Also, be sure to email me and let me know as well so that I can put your name in my jaunty hat for the free limited edition PittGirl shirt.
Again, it’s for sick kids.
All that said, if Bill emails me all “WTF? Who do you think you are?!?” this post will be coming down posthaste right after I tell him who the hell I think I am. It’s PittGirl, bitch.
