Let him be. Let him be.

My Facebook and Twitter friend Leo sent me this link that has absolutely nothing to do with Pittsburgh and everything to do with naked people.

Everyone’s a victim:

Jury selection began Monday morning for a priest accused of indecent exposure for running naked very early in the morning.

The Rev. Robert Whipkey, 53, is on trial in Weld County District Court. He was arrested last June in Frederick, about 25 miles north of Denver, after an officer said he was seen walking naked on a street at 4:35 a.m.

When he was arrested, Whipkey said he sweats profusely if he wears clothing while jogging, according to the arrest report. Police said he told them he had been running naked at the track at Frederick High School and didn’t think anyone would be around that time of day.

The fact that he walked to a track naked, ran some laps, then chose to walk back home completely naked is one WTF.

Here’s the other WTF. Some of the comments posted to the article:

Remember that this country was founded on the premises that every person has certain unalienable rights. among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. that said, who is to stop this man when jogging in the nude makes him happy? Let him be.

Yeah! There’s this guy that is really super happy when he cuts the heads off of puppies. Who’s to stop him? Let him be.

The priest never gets a fair trial and any one can accuse a priest of things of which they are innocent. What witness this officer has to the nude jogging? Could he be lying? Please stop the persecution, we need our priets. A reminder it takes two sinners to commit a sexual sin. Leave our priests alone, stop persecuting them.

But it only takes one naked priest running down the street to commit indecent exposure.

Even Saints have weaknesses. Let he/she who has never sinned throw the first stone to the poor priest who obviously is the real victim here.

Know who’s the “real victim here”? Any eyeballs that had to process his flopping nakedness.

Ew.

As much as I don’t wanna see most folks naked… the US has the nudity thing so far ass backwards it’s ridiculous.

Consider that in large parts of Europe, you can play naked, with your kids, in a public park… and it’s not notable at all. (Germany, for instance.)

Or France, where nude beaches are the norm, and on non-nude beaches, swim trunks aren’t allowed for men… only Speedo-styled trunks.

Or England, where we adopted our puritanical culture from… and mang, they’re the winners of the clothes-lovin’ lottery, I guess.

The priest said he was running naked because he “sweats a lot”. http://www.breitbart.tv/?p=112723

I have a few fat friends that sweat a lot but I have never seen them sweaty enough to have to de-pants just to stay cool.

Sometimes fat people carry sweat towels with them, that’s pretty funny to me.

Whether you think the US is ass backwards or not isn’t the point. The point is there is times and places for being naked and not. If you wanna run naked and you live in the US then join a nudist colony…no one would raise an eyebrow.

Better yet take your nakedness along on your spiritual retreat and commune with God in your all-together.

Where your do NOT take it is to the track at A HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!

Maybe it all depends on who’s running naked. Not that he’d ever do it, but if Daniel Sepulveda ever decided to start running naked I wouldn’t object.

Underarmour makes high performance clothing now which wicks away sweat, meaning no more sweaty cotton clothes. The priest should go to Dick’s Sporting Goods and help out a Burgh based company.

so… it takes 2 to commit a sexual sin? what about all of the children being sexually abused… are they sinners? i think not. it does NOT take 2 sinners to commit a sexual sin. there are MANY ways to commit sexual sin without a partner! or with an UNWILLING PARTNER!
