Evil Demon?

A little tidbit I missed in yesterday’s article about Pat Ford’s resignation from the URA position via a letter in which he hinted that there was some unethical blood on the hands of Yarone Zober, our former mayor for what was it, two days?

Mr. Fisher today detailed that allegation, saying Mr. Zober called the people who wrote letters supporting Mr. Ford, “saying, ‘Don’t do that.'” or they “will be destroyed.”

We are to believe that Yarone Zober called some peeps up and said, “You will be destroyed” as if he is some power-wielding otherworldly ruthless terminator?

Yarone Zober, formerly YZ, formerly The Big Redd Up, now has a new nickname:

Dread Lord Zober

You’re all, “WTF is a Dread Lord?”

Dread Lords are incredibly powerful demons who wield the powers of darkness and mental domination. Though Dread Lords have been known to revel in the gore of single combat, they generally prefer to manipulate and beguile their enemies from the shadows.

Yeah.  Don’t let his preppy, schmucky looks fool you.

You cross Lukey and Dread Lord Zober will DESTROY you.

Also, you city workers, I will pay you the sum of one million tenths of a penny if you take leave of Yarone Zober by muttering under your breath, “As you wish, my Dread Lord.”

Actually its likely true. Dread Lord Zober has a flair for the evil dramatics. He has been known to threaten people. So far as I know however, no one has ever actually been destroyed (though a few paper cuts have been mysteriously suffered). I think he is as evil as he thinks he is, just not nearly as powerful as he wishes he was.

WTF with posting a picture of He Who Must Not Be Named that large at the top of your post without any kind of warning whatsoever. Are you trying to give give us all heart attacks.

One thing I have long noticed is that when anyone actually resorts to uttering the name “Yarone Zober” to the press, things are about to get deadly serious. Now with Roni at or near the center of a very big story, and his mug plastered at the top of popular general interest blogs, I feel like the ground is about to rip open underneath our feet.

    In short: buy gold.

PS Does this make Ferlo the demon Kil’jaeden and Lukey the Lich King Ner’zhul? I have no idea who those characters are supposed to be, but it sounds about right.

His wife left him? Poor Roni. Is he really living in Ferlo’s basement? (I wouldn’t put it past him)
