That is Troysus at Shadyside Hospital visiting a young patient who had recently been diagnosed with cancer.

And you guys laugh at me for comparing him to Jesus.

I think this photo more than makes up for the yucky scary bug I had up for a while, right?

He looks like he’s intentionally doing a Jesus impression there. Too funny!

Is this the end of the world now? I feel a rapture coming on.

I think its wonderful that he does this. He and his wife go to Childrens a lot. They both came to visit my cousin and stayed a pretty long time too. He sure did put a smile on my cousin’s face that day and for days to come after the visit. I think its great that he takes time out to go and visit. He rocks!

This definately make up for the horrible bug many times over. When I saw the hospital smock I thought the baby was here.

I guess Troysus has a soft spot for the kiddos, too.

In my rush to read posts, it’s only been recently that I’ve realized your spelling of Troysus and that you are comparing him to Jesus. All this time, I was thinking Troy-a-sarus…like a dinosaur. Because, you know, men like him–caring, unselfish, great looking, etc.–are nearly extinct…like dinosaurs. roar

Troysus is an Orthodox Christian. All you other religions better be really worried now. Except the Scientologists. They’ve got Stefen Djordjevic.

I spent a weekend in Childrens when I was 10. Can Troysus come and visit me now? I’m feeling a little achy.

Would I get in trouble if I said I prefer the picture of the roach?

Actually, I’d prefer a bigger picture of Sonni (in or out of firefighting gear).

I used to work at Children’s. He visits the kids on the oncology/bone marrow transplant floor all the time. Except he doesnt come with the mob of media people, he comes by himself, usually late at night so he isn’t recognized. One of the kids passed away and he paid for the funeral when the family couldn’t afford it. He’s a stand up guy
