STEELERS TICKETS, BITCHES!

Steelers football officially, meaningfully, REALLY kicks off tomorrow (WOO!) and because I love you and because Dom at www.ineedtwo.com came to me and said, hey, here’s two tickets for you to give away to your readers, I am giving away a pair of tickets to the Steelers/Chargers game at Heinz Field on October 4, 2009.

Sunday Night Football, BITCHES!

Football brings out my potty mouth. But then again, playoff hockey makes me demonic. Remind me to share with you the story of my reaction when they showed Marian Hossa’s face on screen about five seconds after we won the Stanley Cup. Basically, I sounded like Chewbacca if Chewbacca was a mocking, evil demon. I think my kids started crying all, “MOMMY IS SCARING ME! WHAT’S WRONG WITH HER!? IS SHE GOING TO PUKE?”

What were we talking about again?

Question: Why are there no Stiller play-by-play ringtones? I love my current Mike Lange ringtone and encourage people to call me early and often because I never grow tired of hearing it. My cell is never answered til after “Scratch their names on your fabled Cup!” In that same vein, I’d like to find a ringtone featuring Billy and Tunch or maybe a golden oldie from Jack Fleming or Myr’n.

I got a tired ol’ “Here We Go” that mentions Randle El and Cedric Wilson. Speaking on behalf of Steeler Nation, we need an easy-to-find and accessible Super Bowl XLIII play-by-play call ringtone that raises the gooseflesh of Stiller fandom. I particularly want it to stir the hackles of my bankrupt Browns acquaintances as well as any Ratbird fans I run into.

I guess this is a plea for help.

It is so hard to determine my fave tv show…as a child I was torn between SPEED RACER and H.R. PUFF-N-STUF.
As a pre-teen…Charlie’s Angels and Quincy…oh and Emergency and The Incredible Hulk were “must be home” nights

As a teen…I watched this 70′s BBC show called The Tomorrow People (which was being shown in reruns on Nickelodeon) and General Hospital…and several shows I am sure I will recall the second I hit send. I never ever missed an episode (and pretty sure I still have some of them on tape somewhere in an old box)

As an adult I watched Forever Night, Duckman, Buffy and Days of Our Lives…

Currently I love Big Bang theory, Lost, In Plain Sight and Grey’s Anatomy

I am forever indecisive…b/c now I am remembering how much I LOVED Little House, the Brady bunch,…OK I am hitting send or you will have a complete list of every show ever shown on tv soon

Le Femme Nikita? — it was an excellent series. Peta Wilson’s character was certainly the central focus, but Alberta Watson’s Madeline character was the best part of the show for me. That lady had some serious issues. It’s on my top 10.

As for my number 1…… I have to go with M*A*S*H.

I remember being in Iowa and seeing people wear t shirts that said I bleed black and gold. I thought they were Steeler fans but they were University of Iowa fans! And where did the U of I get those colors? from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Story goes that many, many years ago a generous Steelers team gave old uniforms to the U of I and they’ve been black and gold ever since.

Go vote for UPMC kids! Don’t let U of Iowa win, even if they are black and gold.
