Can I get an AMEN!?

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! HALL-E-LU-JAH!

I hear angels getting their wings!  I hear pigeons getting theirs ripped off!  I see rainbows and blue skies and I already feel my body hungrily sucking in much-needed Vitamin D.

The end is near!

The farmers almanac has predicted 40 inches of snow for the month of March, I’m not making this up. I’m assuming they just over-shot and we got it all in Feb.

For years I thought the sun was a monster. But I am here to tell you that it’s not a monster! IT’S NOT A MONSTER!

    @bucdaddy lets go tailgate something!

Going to the opener, spoon? Or might you be anywhere near downtown? The plan is to start at Saloon on the Strip and end at August Henry’s. I have couponage and we need to eat/drink so much for them to kick in. Maybe you could help.

Prediction #1: March goes out like a lion.

Prediction #2: Pirates opener is snowed out.

Prediction #3: Ginny throws herself off of Bloomfield Bridge in despair.

I’m so happy for you guys and I don’t even live there. But, honestly, I’m only happy because Cleveland is so close, it only means we’ll get the same soon… I hope?

@bucdaddy I’m debating going. last year was the first time I missed since 84 but that was because Teaspoon came home from the NICU. I may go to keep my streak in tact and just (*) 2009

Oooh, thanks for the update. Since I’ve left Twitter for a bit, I realized how much traffic and weather news I get from there. Maybe I should start watching the local news?

The snow was such a welcome sight, I did not even put a coat on when I ran some errands this morning. Yee-haw!

rpm, probably a better bet to get your weather from anywhere else but the local news. At the very least I ignore the 14-day temperature trend. The 26th was supposed by 56 degrees as of a few weeks out. But, alas, we got snow and many school delays instead.

spoon, Let me know and I’ll tell you how to find us.

I’m only on a streak of four (this will be five). The last two years Joe Grushecky/Houserockers have cranked it up postgame in the HoF Club. That’s worth going for even if the game sucks.

That, and of course the beer.

@Mary – I freaking hate that sound! Although at this point I’m willing to submit to anything in order to melt the snow mountains.

Respect the crocs! And start piling the sandbags up around the basement windows, folks. Either that or start work on the Ark.

OMG, we might actually need something with an SPF factor and that doesn’t stand for Snow Prediction Forecast!!

I say let’s go outside and soak up this Vitamin-D so that we have the strength to deal with the runoff when the snow mountains finally melt to the point where you can safely drive around in a parking lot…
