I wonder if Tyler Grisham will show up? That’d be sweet and swoony. Swoony is not a word, but there is no other word that works there.

To enter! This is going to be a tough one, Burghers. Name your favorite Pittsburgh Steeler of all time. ALL TIME.

Preface your comment with, “Yo, Terry Bradshaw, I’ma let you finish, but …”

Just kidding.

My favorite Steeler of all time on and off the field? Way too easy.

Who’s yours?

Leave a comment, one comment per valid email address and I’ll let Random.org pick the winning comment number tomorrow, Tuesday, August 31 at 5:00 p.m.

Good luck! Get me an autograph if you win!

If you don’t win … you can purchase tickets by calling 412-802-8256!

I don’t have a favorite of “all” time, but currently it would be Troy Polamalu!

“Yo, Terry Bradshaw, I’ma let you finish, but … my favorite Steeler of all time is Jack Lambert.” Jack took no crap, EVAH!!! From anyone. Before, during or after a play. He represented the Steeler mentality at all times and wouldn’t hesitate to defend the Steeler honor.

I remember watching the Steelers play in Jacksonville for the Jaguars first-ever MNF game and we were taking a drubbing as usual from those upstarts. During a TV-timeout, their lame mascot “Jaxon DeVille” was on the 50 yard line with a Kordell Stewart effigy that he was kicking, stomping and throwing around in the air for laughs. It was pathetic watching the team on the field just staring in disbelief at his antics. My buddy and I were disgusted knowing that if it had been 25 years earlier, ol’ #58 would have stormed over there and cold-cocked the mascot into next season. What a difference a generation makes.

Hines Ward. I met him once at a charity event that he paid for and at which I was volunteering.

Jack Lambert! Tough & gritty, that’s the way I like my Steelers. Plus, when I was about 3 I thought he lived in Three Rivers Stadium. Not the whole team, just him. Anyone that cool deserves to be my favorite for life.
