Gothamburgh n’at. Here be spoilers.

[swishes cape and runs away]

As you know, if I were Batman, I’d spend a lot of time swishing my cape and running away in a dramatic fashion while humming nana-nana-nana-nana BAT.MAN.

With my life being a bit crazy right now medically speaking (which, don’t ask. Weird developments on that front that we can’t explain until we get a new surgeon to look at my latest CT scan. Don’t pity me. Send Genre five bucks instead. Donate button is right over there! —–>), I haven’t had much time to cover all the Batman news around Gothamburgh, so let me get some of this stuff summed up in case you haven’t already gotten your info from another site.

If you don’t give a crap about Batman, you’ll want to bloop-bloop-bloop down to the Kennywood post. If you don’t give a crap about Kennywood, WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?! God. It’s like I don’t even know you anymore.

1. Here’s Christian Bale and Tom Hardy duking it out in the “snow” on the steps of the Carnegie Mellon Institute:

It was probably 90 degrees that day, so I like to imagine Christian Bale as Ross Geller trying to take leather pants off to poop and then not being able to get them back on due to sweat and resulting flesh expansion, culminating in baby-powder-paste hijinks.

My imagination rawks.

2. Here’s Anne Hathaway, Catwoman, on set.

Her stunt double being badass. I bet she’d swish her cape if she had one.

That looks like a comfy way to ride a batmocycle. I just coined that. Send me ten cents each time you say it.

Also, I see dead people.

3. Rex is in on it all too!

Very cape-swishy.

4. Batman Pirates hat!

Get yours here.

5.  The Gotham PD badge:

6. This weekend was the big explosiony football game filming at  Heinz Field where Lukey played the kicker for the team that was playing against the Gotham Rogues, as they’re called. You can grab this shirt down at the Pittsburgh Stop in Oakland:

Here’s Heinz Field:

Definitely looks like a Graboid attack. You can see a lot more here.

Here’s Bill Cowher, coach of the Rogues, chatting with an opposing player.

Hines Ward running back a Lukey kick for a touchdown.  A paid extra on the set tells me that the rumor that the Civic Arena would be hit with an explosion in the film is false and that Hines had to dodge explosions as he ran the kick back. I wonder if Lukey pulled a Jeff Reed?

Hines rode a Tumbler. Hopefully sober, n’at.

Hines Ward is the Batman

I’m told Lukey was the shortest dude on the field and was soundly booed by the crowd for one reason or another and that his first kick attempt went 15 yards. Boom.

I cannot tell you what a sad panda I am that I searched the Internet high and low, falling down rabbithole after rabbithole looking for a half-decent picture of Lukey dressed in his costume, and I found none.

Is this not 2011, the year of immediate information dissemination?!

Hook a girl up, yo.

Forget Lukey. You had me at “Anne Hathaway.”
I can only assume she’s holding her hand up to shield her eyes while she searches for me in the crowd.

Figures Mayor Snoop-A-Loop had to somehow get himself in there. What a twit!

    Anne Hathaway {thumbs up!}
