A little nudge

Genre got leukemia and then decided to help other families living with childhood cancer.

What started small has become a full-fledged 501c3 organization that has in some fashion or another alleviated the burden of a cancer diagnosis for families in Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

While still fighting the disease, Genre and his family took a very very scary bad Thing and made it into a giving, loving, great Thing and I want to reward that because good should be rewarded gosh darn it, because I believe in the Karma Boomerang, because what if it was my kid.

Because there’s enough selfishness and greed in this world that I’d like to see selflessness and generosity raised just a little higher up.

Here’s a reminder.

Please donate just a few bucks today, if you have them. If all my readers gave just $1.00, that would be tens of thousands of dollars to give to kids with cancer. If you can spare more, GREAT. Don’t forget to click that ScoreBig button and register a SUPER FAST free account which will funnel an additional dollar to Genre’s Kids with Cancer Fund.

I will probably be sharing that Awkward Mulleteen picture this afternoon!

Group hug.

Donation complete, hope the kids can find a few moments of joy in an otherwise craptastic situation :-)

What an awesome kid! I thank you for making me sit here sobbing at my desk at work. Life is so very not fair. Glad to do what I can.

Done and done. Hopefully, others will give and the goal will be broken by leaps and bounds!
