Perhaps the best Fayette County slogan ever created ever in the history of time and dinosaurs and wizards and Geico cavemen as found via the awesome Musings from FayetteNam blog who found it on a Facebook status:

“Fayette County: Where men are men and sheep are nervous.”

That needs to be a shirt.

Can I add that alongside my, “Fayette County: Ninja Capital of the World”?

    Mercer 2
Fayette 1 (no credit for recycled joke)
    Westmoreland 0

Although wasn’t there some grisly murder or something in Westmoreland over the weekend? That could scramble the standings.

Sadly, that’s not new. My dad has been saying that for years about South Dakota.

Yeah, that’s kind of an old one. “Sheep are scared” is the one I know.

Scotland just called. They’re upset someone took their slogan.

Yeah, that one’s like 200 years old. West Va., Arkansas, Plum (where I grew up), I’m guessing lots of other places. Also, why does the Navy have Marines on board ship? Cause sheep would be too obvious.

Fayette County: A place that one day hopes to achieve the sophistication of West Virginia.

Sophisticated, cosmopolitan Westmoreland County taking shots at Fayette….chuckle inducing for sure…;)

Fayette County: they’ll steal an 800lb bear if he’s not nailed down.

What are the three most common lies in Fayette County?

    1. My truck is paid for.
    2. She’s not my sister, she’s my date.
    3. I was just helping the sheep over the fence.

    4. That’s not mine, officer, I was just holding it for a … um, a friend.
