What They’re Not Thinking

So this is the space I would normally have What They’re Really Thinking: [insert something random here] Edition.

I would rehash the important parts of the game and probably talk about Daniel’s arm muscles, pictures permitting, and talk about my emotional state during the game.

But here’s the problem, for the first time in years, I missed a Steelers game.

Shut up, Duke. It was my kid’s birthday and that meant I spent all weekend running around doing fun family stuff and in between soccer games and football games and parties and fun and baking and family and friends, I didn’t see the game and I forgot to DVR it.

Rather than try to piece together the game from highlight video, I’m just going to skip this game’s WTRT and I hope you understand.

If you also missed the game, here’s what I’ve been able to put together, in a nutty nutshell:

BOOM! Bam! WOO! Mike Wallace! Rashard has wheels! Troy! Steelers RULE! Pittsburgh’s goin’ to the Super Bowl, here we go! [halftime] Um. Er. Oy. Huh? Oy. Ick. OMG. Puke. EEK! Whew.

There you go. We’re all caught up.

P.S. Someone tell Jonathan Scott he’s doing it wrong. I don’t know what he’s doing. I just know that’s not how you do it.

I missed the game, too. Bad Me. I am so ashamed. But I made up for it by wearing my Hines-Baby jersey while I was grilling up goodies for my mama’s birthday dinner. Judging from the language I heard from those who were camped out in front of my TV while I was slaving over a hot grill, you have it about right — with a few “What the hellllllll?????s” thrown in for good measure. There were some other words said, too, but I want to stay on your good side!!!

Don’t feel bad about missing the game. Most of the Steelers missed the second half.

I was at the game and think you summed it up perfectly. Although I would have liked to see some pictures of Daniel’s arms

Not unless only one Steeler was playing.

I caught most of the first half, and then decided to go to Costco, thinking they had it pretty well in hand. My bad. I am glad I missed the heart attack, though. We got some great samples at the warehouse!

I was at the game, and let’s just say that during the second half, our section was no longer a family-friendly atmosphere

Judging from your post it doesn’t seem that you missed the game at all. lol
