Who doesn’t love Mike Wallace right now?
The fastest, baddest-assest wide receiver in the entire NFL. And he’s extremely easy on the eyes:
I just want to remind you that I loved Mike Wallace before it was cool to love Mike Wallace so in the future, you should always just jump on my various bandwagons the moment I build them because they fill up fast and you’ll find yourself squished in the corner sniffing the armpit of a fat, sweaty yinzer when you could be riding shotgun beside me.
Mike Wallace has a big heart and he’s opening it up again this year to benefit CASA of Allegheny County, the organization I’ve written about several times. CASA has a corp of trained volunteers who serve as advocates for Pittsburgh’s abused and neglected children as they navigate the foster system. I love listening to the stories they tell of the kids they help and the impact they’re having on our region’s future.
The Champions for Children event is a fundraiser for CASA and I’m giving away two tickets to one of my readers!
What: Meet Mike Wallace and his Steeler friends for an exclusive autograph session along with an open bar and appetizers! You may bring one item of memorabilia to be autographed by the players. Last year, Mike brought Antonio Brown, Charlie Batch, Byron Leftwich and many more.
When: Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in West Club Lounge in Heinz Field
Value: Tickets are $125 each so this giveaway is valued at $250.00! #math
To Enter: Leave a comment! One comment per valid email address and so you have something to say, tell me the Steeler, current or past, that you’d most like to have dinner with. Do you want to chat with Terry Bradshaw over some Red Lobster? Ask Lynn Swann about ballet? Admire Daniel Sepulveda’s eyes over candlelight at Toast while he reads to you from the Bible (step off)? Have a beer with Skippy Skeeve and talk sluts and failed dreams and misdemeanors?
Me? I’d like to have some soup by the fire with Dick LeBeau and have him recite The Night Before Christmas to me.
You have until tomorrow, Thursday, at 5:00 p.m. to enter at which time I’ll have Random.org pick a winner. I plan to be at the event, so we’ll have fun together and you hold me and my husband back when we try to jump into Mike Wallace’s arms for a hug. For different reasons, obviously.
